If you have a taste for Japanese ladies, then you've probably already heard of CaribbeanCom - a wildly popular site in Asia. Thankfully, they have an English version which is where this review focuses.
For those of you - like me - who don't know a word in Japanese, there are a few things you should know before visiting this site. From the home page, select English (obviously) and then the "view more" text link in the lower right-hand of the page - this will take you to the live chat area. Next, click on the FAQ link in the top navigation - this is where you will see how the site works and if you approve, use the Join Now text link on this page.
The reason I mention all this is that if you try to enter a preview chat with a lady, the links to Add Funds, Join, etc. will all take you to the Japanese version of the sign-up/buy time pages. Only from the FAQ did I manage to get to the English versions of these pages.
Okay, so now the sign-up details: They use a monthly membership system whereby you pay a flat fee and get bonus time added to your account. The membership will allow you to view the preview video chat but the private chat is 2 credits per minute (roughly $1 = 1 credit). If you plan on chatting a lot or viewing the many videos available, then the price is reasonable. If you only plan on video chat, however, the $49.50 (1 month) membership fee may be steep.
Overall, the video quality is about average (Flash-based) as these are home-based performers. They do seem to be fairly enthusiastic and responsive, although their English leaves a lot to be desired (this is a Japanese site after all!). For those of you looking for a "chat mate" you'd better learn Japanese!
