Outside the obvious Matrix theme, this is a fairly standard video chat with the benefit of cheap private chat rates and an enhanced membership area.
Typically you'll find only about 4 - 6 performers online at a time but their chat rooms are pretty quiet (good, more attention for me!). The site used Flash-based live cam rooms and offers full cam2cam capabilities including audio.
Private chat starts at $1.99/minute (rates vary by performer) while 2-way video chat is $3.99 which I thing is a bit high: Most sites I've seen that offer cam2cam don't charge a premium for the service.
One of the better features of CamMatrix is the performers fan clubs that include photo galleries and schedules which they actually seem to use. To access these features you need to sign up (free) and add credits to your account (see Rates below). You can then join the Fan Club for the performer you wish allowing you to receive personal messages from the lady, book an appointment and see her high-resolution photo and video gallery.
Once sign-up, login to your account to access your personal home page which gives you access to a fairly large photo gallery, read e-mail from the site and performers, and view your Preferred Performers list.
One very nice feature, though I confess I haven't tried it yet, is a toolbar-like application you can install which will show you who's online all the time - even if you are not on CamMatrix. Have to check that one out!
One thing I'd like to see is an indicator showing how much time you have/remaining in a show, it's easy to get distracted and lose track of time! As well, the video quality could be better - the shows were a bit choppy and not all performers have audio, a nice feature that I've found makes a show much more intimate.
